3^rd Annual

Host Family and Au pair Barbecue

Due to the popularity of this event we will meet at DeKoevend Park this year so that we have more space. We have reserved the covered picnic table area (Shelter A) which is located next to the restrooms and close to the playground. You can park at Goodson Recreation Center and walk down the path or park in the lot just off University near the entrance to Goodson Rec Center.

We will provide the hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks and fixings. Please bring an appetizer, side dish or dessert to share with the group. There is plenty of room to run around at this park so feel free to bring Frisbees, soccer balls or other fun outdoor games.

July Au Pair Meeting

PICNIC ON THE BEACH

WHEN : Sunday July 24^th 9:20am

There is an $8 park fee per car so we will meet at King Scoopers shopping plaza 8200 S Holly St Centennial, CO 80122 (Corner of County Line & Holly) at 9:20 am and car pool in. Please bring singles with you to cover that cost. We will be leaving the lot at 9:30 am so if you are late you will need to meet us at the park!

What should you bring?

Bathing suit if you want to swim, towel to dry off and sit on, Sunscreen, hat and some lunch

For our June meeting we will be playing a round of Lazer Tag at Brunswick Zone in Lone Tree. We will meet in the entrance way at 7 pm. The cost for Lazer Tag is $4.99 per person per round.

For our May meeting we will be taking a hike in Roxborough State Park with the Highlands Ranch group.

We will meet at 10:15 am in the parking lot of the Safeway 8355 N. Rampart Range Road,  Littleton, CO 80125

It is imperative that you arrive on time! We will car pool from the Safeway to the hiking site in Roxborough State Park.

Here is what you will want to bring with you…

The parking fee is $7 we are car pooling so just bring some singles with you to give to the driver for parking.  The hike will take approximately 1.5 hours. Please be sure to use sunscreen, dress appropriately with hiking shoes or sneakers and comfortable clothes. You will also want to bring a water bottle with you and of course your cameras

You are sure to enjoy our March meeting as we will be participating in a Zumba class lead by our very own Highlands Ranch LCC Jennifer Wagner. I have had the pleasure of attending one of Jennifer’s Zumba classes she does a fantastic job. Jennifer is high energy which makes her class a lot of fun.

Please wear appropriate gym clothing/shoes and bring a water bottle with you.
